Eleventh posting: Diaries of two Southern ladies (1865)
Susan R. Jervey and Charlotte St. J. Ravenel wrote these 'Diaries from Middle St. John's, Berkeley, South Carolina, February-May, 1865'.
Both diaries were electronically published under sponsorship from the Library of Congress/Ameritech National Digital Library Competition. The publisher was the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They 'may be used freely by individuals for research, teaching and personal use as long as this statement of availability is included in the text.'
It was part of the UNC-CH digitization project, 'Documenting the American South, Beginnings to 1920.'
